The Terry Whalen Band delivers a tasty stew of roots, rock and blues, with a unique delivery reminiscent of the great Muddy Waters.  On December 2, 2009 the bands latest CD, A Wicked Driving Rain, recieved a 2010 ECMA nomination for Blues Recording of the Year. Two years in a row we migh add, because on  December 11, 2008 the The Devil's Fireplace was nominated for a 2009 ECMA for Blues Recording of the Year.

On this day in 2000 . . The graves of Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines of Lynyrd Skynyrd

were vandalized. The two musicians were killed when the bands plane crashed on October 20, 1977.
